Danny Browning is not the kind of comedian who always knew he was destined for the stage. He is the kind who showed up anyway, night after night, until the stage started feeling like the most honest place he had ever stood.
For more than 20 years, he has been doing exactly that. Comedy clubs, corporate ballrooms, convention centers, church fellowship halls, fundraiser galas, and theaters across the country. He has performed for Fortune 500 companies and small nonprofit organizations running their first comedy fundraiser.

Where it started
Danny got his start as the house MC at the Evansville Funny Bone. That job is exactly what it sounds like and nothing like what you would imagine until you have done it.
As house MC, Danny opened for everyone who came through that club. The legends. The headliners, having an off week, needed someone to hand them a room that was already warm and ready. Night after night, Danny learned the thing that no comedy class teaches: how to read a room before it is ready and bring it to where it needs to be.
That is where the foundation was built. Not from a curriculum. From real crowds, real stakes, and real consequences when the first three minutes did not land.

From the Evansville Funny Bone, the road opened up.

He has performed for the United States Air Force, Fortune 500 manufacturers, nonprofit galas, and fundraisers that broke their own donation records the night he was on stage.
He has shared the stage with Norm MacDonald, Tracy Morgan, Jennifer Coolidge, Roy Wood Jr., Lewis Black, Dave Attell, Dom Irrera, and a long list of names that tell you everything you need to know about the rooms where he has performed and the level at which he performs.
Danny released a stand-up album called Happy Go Lucky. Some of his other credits include Laughs on Fox and appearances on the Discovery Channel.
